Thai Spicy Salmon with Rice & Salad by Kathleen Heady

This is delicious dish to serve for lunch or dinner and a great way to re-use that leftover Salmon from last night. I created this Thai spicy sauce for the main entrée, the Salmon served with Rice and Green Leaf Lettuce. Cooking Time: Approx. 20-25 minutes.


Spicy Thai Sauce Recipe:

2 Salmon Fillets

1 cup water

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp fish sauce
1/2 lime

1/2 tbsp. Siracha Hot Sauce

1 tbsp. Siracha Garlic Chili Sauce

1/2 Green Jalepeno Finely chopped

2 Garlic Cloves

3 Green Onion Stalks

1/2 Fresh Roma tomato Blended or finely chopped

Serve With:

Rice & Green Leaf Lettuce 


Step 1:

Make Rice first. Rinse rice. Heat on oven on high until boiling. Cover the pot and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 2:

Lightly season the salmon with the fish in the oven at 375 degrees in oven for 20-25 minutes. Once cooked let cool.

Step Three:

Make Spicy Thai Sauce. Mix Water in bowl with soy sauce, fish sauce all hot sauces and finely chopped garlic, jalapeno, and tomato. Squeeze the lime in the mixing bowl. Add a tiny bit of salt if you wish.


Step 4:

Cut fish into steak slices add to pan. Pour spicy sauce over each fish steak. Turn heat to medium high once warm add to plate with rice and green leaf lettuce. Add spicy thai sauce to rice and lettuce then Serve.
