Balsamic & Cream Cheese Appetites

My Aunt made these for our last family dinner for appetizers and they were so delicious. So I decided to make them for our New Years Eve dinner appetizers. Their easy to make and best of all their inexpensive, great for any party and require only a few ingredients and little time to make.  Here’s the recipe….



1 French bread

Cream Cheese

1 Onion

2-3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 tsp Salt *optional*

1 tbsp. Olive Oil

Serves: 8-10


Step 1:

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Then slice onions thinly. Add 1 tbsp olive oil. Then add onions and pour balsamic vinegar all over until onions are covered. Add salt to taste (optional). Stir onions in pan on medium high heat.

Step 2:

Bake french bread for 5 minutes at 325 degrees in oven.

Step 3:

Cut french bread into small slices. Let cool.  Add Cream Cheese and Onions on top.
