Turkey Patties & JoJo’s

8 oz Turkey Ground Meat

1 large Carrot

1 Small Onion

5 Garlic Cloves

1 Red Apple

2 tbsp. Mrs. dash Original Herb Seasoning

1/2 tbsp. Black Pepper

1 large egg

Lots of Olive Oil


4-6 small potatoes

1/2 Cup Sweet Chili Sauce

2 Roma Tomatoes


Serve With:

Lettuce and Potato JoJo’s

& Sweet Chili Sauce


Prep Time: 10 minutes  Cook Time: 30-35 minutes

Serving Size: 6-8


Step 1:

First rinse potatoes and cut to wedge size and microwave for 5-8 minutes until semi-soft and season with a little mrs. dash before frying in mixing bowl.


Then Blend onion, garlic, carrot and apple in blender while potatoes are warming up. Add meat and vegetables to mixing bowl and mix.


Add 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper and Mrs. Dash Original herb seasoning to pattie mixing bowl and 1 large egg to meat and Mix.


Set two large frying pans out one for the patties and for the the potatoes.


Make patties by hand and set on a baking pan.


Add about 2 tbsp. Olive Oil to pattie frying pan and 2-3 tbsp in potato pan. Cook patties and potatoe jojo’s at same time. Add Olive Oil to Potato  frying pan and turn heat to high/medium on both pans.  Carefully watch potatoes and patties. Bring heat in jojo’s pan down to medium heat once hot and frying begins after about 30 seconds to 1 minute.


Cook each pattie on one side for 3-5 minutes in pan on high/medium heat then flip pattie and let sit on other side for 3-5 minutes on high/medium heat.


Flip patties once more and cover with pan lid  and turn heat down to medium/low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Continue to watch potatoe jojo’s flipping potatoes every 1-2 minutes until a dark golden color and soft and set on paper toweled plate.

Step 3:

After patties simmer for 5 minutes. Drain liquid from pan and add another 2 tbsp. Olive Oil and turn heat back to high. Turn heat back to hig/medium heat and continue to flip patties on each side for 3-5 minutes until cooked fully. Cover the pan with lid once more on medium/low heat if necessary to speed up the cooking process

Step 4:

In small mixing bowl add 1/2 cup Sweet Chili Sauce and add chopped Roma Tomatoes in bowl and mix.


Once patties are fully cooked add a one lettuce piece to plate and set Turkey patties on top. Add a little Sweet Tomato Chili Sauce to the top of each pattie and serve with potato Jojo’s on the side.



Walla Dinner is Served.
