Spanish Rice

2/12 cups Rice

2 tbsp. Olive Oil

1 cup Onion

Handful of Green Olives (whole or chopped)

3 cups Water

14.5 oz. Organic Stewed Tomatoes

2 packet Sazon Goya

1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt

1/2 tsp. Black Pepper


Step 1: Rinse rice. Add 2 tbsp Olive Oil to pan. Turn heat to high. Once Olive Oil is warm/hot add rice to pan.


Turn heat down to high/medium heat and cook rice until golden brown stirring frequently.While rice is being stir fried chopped onions and add 1 cup of onions and a handful of green olives whole or chopped and continue to stir until rice is golden brown.


Step 2: Once rice is a golden brown color add 3 cups of water and 14.5 oz. Organic Stewed Tomatoes and stir. Bring to a boil and add 2 packets of Sazon Goya seasoning,1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt (I added a little more Garlic Salt for extra flavor but that is optional) and add 1/2 tsp. Black pepper. Then stir. Image

Step 3: Once water is boiling in pan. Cover the rice and let simmer for 20-25 minutes on low heat.


Step 4: Serve and Enjoy Arroz.
